Our Newest Yoga insturctor -Emmalyn

Emmalyn Tringali began her yoga practice in 2011, when she moved to Laguna Beach, CA to pursue her career as an oil painter. She found that long hours in the art studio needed to be balanced by winding down in the yoga studio. For her, yoga became an integral part of life. The stress of school melted away in the yoga room, and Emmalyn knew that she needed to bring the calm and peace she found during her yoga practice into every-day life. Finding yoga off the mat led her to practice meditation and pranayama while in her art studio. Above all else, Emmalyn believes yoga is a practice without perfection. It is not something she expects to master, but something she strives to embody every day. 

Emmalyn became a yoga teacher at the beginning of 2016, when she completed Jamie Hanson’s Empowered Yoga Teacher Training in San Clemente, CA. Shortly afterwards, she received her attunement to practice Reiki. Both yoga and reiki have had a tremendous positive effect on Emmalyn’s life, and she hopes to share the wonderful benefits of these healing practices with other beings throughout her life. 

Emmalyn recently moved from Laguna Beach, CA to Chagrin Falls, OH to be closer to her family. She is very excited about joining both the art and yoga communities here. She currently works as a fine art painter and teaches art classes at the Valley Art Center and the Orange Art center.

Our Newest Instructor - Meet Jeremiah

Jeremiah Kiefer has been practicing and mastering the art of yoga daily for over 6 years. Yoga has become a way of life for him.  Jeremiah continues to practice daily, always exploring the limitless possibilities of the Yoga practice.  Deeply rooted in a strong Vinyasa yoga foundation, but also a master of the art of Pranayama (breath control), meditation and a singer of Vedic mantras.   His classes focus on fluid movements and precise deep breathing.  Energizing, yet grounding. Creating a deep sense of inner awareness. Come and experience.

We have a new class with Cynthia starting Sunday's at 4:30 PM. Join us! 

Cynthia spent the first 20 years of her professional career practicing law before she came upon her true calling as a yoga instructor.  She seeks to help others integrate yoga asana and meditation into their lives to become happier and healthier.  She believes in being true to one's current self while allowing for exploration of one's edge and expansion of one's capabilities.  Cynthia's classes contain flowing routines which guide students to become more confident in their bodies, more present in their minds and more at peace in their hearts.

Chair Yoga Class

Our Chair Yoga is a unique and gentle yoga class that is ideal for beginners, those returning to yoga after an extended absence, healthy seniors and anyone who can benefit from the support of a chair to learn and practice yoga poses. It is suitable for all ages and fitness conditions, and it is a great introduction to yoga for anyone who is not sure whether yoga is right for them.

Chair Yoga includes traditional yoga poses adapted by using a chair to support and stabilize the body. No yoga mat is necessary. Our class includes poses that are done seated on the chair or standing while utilizing the chair for support. Poses include gentle stretches, bends and twists as well as supported balance poses, all designed to increase flexibility, strength and balance, and bring increased blood flow and oxygen to all parts of the body.

Our Chair Yoga class also includes the essential yoga practices of centering and breath work, and ends with guided meditation and deep relaxation to balance body, mind and spirit.

After moving to Cleveland in 2013, she decided she wanted to pass along the gift of yoga, creating a supportive space to challenge others to live their best life, transform and have fun. Meet Lindsey At The Barre!

A vivacious individual, Lindsey comes from an extensive dance background that includes 20 years of formal training, performances and competitions.  She also served as Publicity Director and one of the choreographers for the University of Florida’s Dancin’ Gators.  Lindsey fell in love with yoga in 2013 when started taking classes as a unique way to continue using her dance technique (hello increased strength, flexibility and better posture!), and has since gained so much more.  Lindsey is especially drawn to the spirituality of yoga—uniting the mind, body and breath to provide inner-strength and a relaxed state of being, emerging refreshed and ready to take on the world!
